Suicide & Self-Harm – Through The Lens Of The Penny Model

Suicide & Self-Harm – Through The Lens Of The Penny Model

CPD Webinar | Friday 18 April | 10:00–11:30 GMT

Facilitator: Stefan Charidge – Creator of The Penny Model

Suicide and self-harm rarely appear “out of nowhere.” Often they emerge from emotional pressure that has been quietly building over time.

This webinar explores how unspoken feelings, unmet needs, and misaligned emotional experiences can accumulate — creating internal pressure that may lead to self-harm or suicidal thinking.

Through the framework of The Penny Model, we will explore compassionate and psychologically grounded ways of understanding distress and responding with greater clarity, care, and emotional awareness.

 Understand how emotional experiences can accumulate over time

 Explore how internal pressure can contribute to suicidal thoughts and self-harm
