Gestalt conference
Shanghai, April 2027
The theme is ‘The Tao of Gestalt’.
We would like to invite you and your fellow colleagues to consider presenting at the conference. This would be a contribution which would be greatly appreciated, and would be an opportunity for Chinese Gestalt practitioners to experience a broader world Gestalt.
This is also an opportunity to visit China, and discover some of the dynamic developments which are taking place in the psychological field here. With it’s visa-free program, China is definitely welcoming visitors, and it is a safe destination to travel to for a purpose such as this conference.
Our ethos is inclusiveness, dialogue, meeting in difference, and bringing together East and West. All workshops will be translated Chinese – English, English – Chinese. This adds to the cost, but insures it is truly a cross cultural experience accessible to everyone.
The conference will feature both off-line and online components. We realise not everyone can come to China, so we want to make sure we are inclusive; if you are unable to travel here, please consider offering an online workshop for participants.
If you come to Shanghai, you are welcome to propose a pre-conference workshop as well; these are paid on a profit-split basis.
We hope you consider attending, your presence is welcomed.
There is no specific organisation running the conference - it is being done through a collective; but there are co-sponsoring organisations which contribute to the scholarship fund, and whose members receive a discount for registration.
